Opening mirrors on driving off automatically when speed reached

Featured Replies

Skoda superb  mk2 cannot get mirrors to auto unfold on driving away open and close on key and on door switch but not on speed do you have to put switch in special position

Don't think it can

Why would you want this?

If you parked and needed to reverse what would you do

Don't see the point. I'll check the adjustment of both mirrors before driving off every time they unfold.

My mirrors unfold as soon as engine starts if there folded in via remote

and if I have reversed the left mirror resets after driving off

Hi its not about physically closing mirrors that all works fine either with rotary knob  or holding button on remote until they close I'm on about  with mirrors closed I drive off and then at certain speed reached they will open automatically. CAN  THE SUPERB ELEGANCE HAVE THIS FUNCTION

I got that. My point was that I will unfold and then check the mirror adjustments before driving off every time I use the function.

Its completely unpractical for driving a car safely

You check your mirrors before moving off

Maybe its fitted on your past BMW but some BMW's also come with NO indicators🤣

And also no need for shouting👍

I’ve had the mirrors folded in with the engine running but that was waiting in a queue with cars driving past to close for my liking. I used the switch

the mirrors normally unfold when starting the car or knocking ignition on.
Mine is the elegance model
