Hi, I just went to start my octavia and it barely turned over and sounded awful. I tried once more but it just sounded so bad I stopped it immediately. Also an oil pressure warning came up on the dash. I checked and it has oil. 

 

Does this sound like something that can be fixed or could it be catastrophic? I don't want to pump money into if its dead.

Hi, oil was topped up but filter wasn't changed. Been using the car without problem. 

Tell us the story then please.

 

It could have been anything that made the noise so someone that is a mechanic needs to check what is wrong.

 

How many miles has the car done?

When was that last oil and filter change done?      That oil looks horrible IMO.  A pity you topped that up.  

When were the spark plugs changed last?

What else is there about the car, how long have you had it?
