Climatronic 2012 1.6tdi

Featured Replies

Had an issue tonight where the, climatronic system had very little flow on any setting. The temp system seems to adjust and work fine but the high to low settings had no adjustment when increasing or decreasing. Seems to be stuck even though visible the bars on the system move fine and everything appears to work on the control of the system. Any ideas gratefully appreciated.

OK, when you "adjust" the high low flow settings, can you hear the fan speed changing?

No does, not seem to be. Could it be a fuse issue. Worked fine all day  and when  started up tonight just did not blow, at any setting. Heat is, coming out but a tiny amount. Hope this helps Ken.

OK, start by checking the fan fuses, then the Climate controls (with VCDS or OBD-II).

So worked out to be the 5 amp fuse in the engine compartment think it's no 9 air conditioner after changing the two fuses in the cabin. Thanks for your help. Luckily a cheap fix on an old but solid car.
