Timing belt change on mk3 superb 190bhp

Featured Replies

Wonder if somebody can tell me torque settings (tensioner, 3 bolts on cams, etc) to carry out timing belt on Skoda superb 2.0tdi 190bhp 2016.

You have a few choices here, go on erWin Skoda and get the workshop repair diagrams and wiring diagrams for 7 Euros.

Or you can post your Engine Code and get results in a bit.

DFCA is a legit engine code, if that came off your V5, they are often wrong... now looking at values.

Pick the number(s) you want the details on. (answered below)

Engine code (DFC) I gave is sticker on Cam cover. Tensioner, idles, waterpump, crank pulley bolts, etc. Is it normally necessary to slacken cam adjustment bolt? Thanks varooom

VAG must be saving ink then 😄

Not sure of the actual process, as never changed a belt, it will be another few pages of information in the document.
