Hi,

 

I’m trying to update the media unit in my 2015 Mk3. Currently the unit in the car is 6VO 035 871 B and I purchased a new unit that said it would fit online (6V0 919 604) as I wanted a unit that contained the apple car play.  Any tips on this? Is it possible?

You old unit (6V0035871B) is a combination of main unit and display unit. What you bought (6V0919604B) is just a display unit. To have it working, you also need main unit and special harness to extend current one and connect new units.

 

What is the reason for changing?
