Had the car a week now and this message is coming up in the dash intermittently. I’ve spoken to the dealer and been assured it’s a known issue with all VW based vehicles and the cars safe to drive. It’s going in to the workshop to get the problem sorted and I’ve been told it could be some hours so will be given a courtesy car.

Am assuming it’s a software issue and an update will be run to correct it, hence it being in for a while. It’s also affecting the satnav which also points me towards software.

I was told it doesn’t affect all vehicles but Skoda can’t identify which ones it does 🤔

I had this issue. They thought it was a software issue, and that they needed the car all day. I had a courtesy car (a Superb) booked for that day (Friday) and the weekend and Monday, in case the update ran over. Turns out my software was up to date and more investigation pointed to a fault with an aerial, sorry I can't remember its name. That arrived on the Thursday and was fitted that day. Had the Superb for a whole week, and have had no issues since.

Thank you, that’s useful. We’ve noticed it come on over speed bumps, potholes, sharp braking, cornering more so than during ordinary driving which would suggest there could perhaps be something wrong internally or externally with the aerial. Will have to wait and see what workshop come up with.
