My original SD card Skoda is 14.8 and the new update is 15.5. I delet all lenguages i do not need and in the end i was f***ed up for 10 Mb

Thoes enybody have solution? i cant download smaler map coz i driving from Spain to Montenegro

There are genuine Skoda SD cards available that are 32GB and will hold the latest 2024 maps, I got mine off eBay - but check it really is 32GB (one seller misdescribed as 32GB but was actually 16GB).

I buy on Ali Express 32Gb 2023/2024. I will see if it works. 24€

If you have an Amundsen then it won't as the Amundsen maps MUST be on a genuine Skoda SD card to be recognised.

If they faked the CID - Card ID for Skoda/SEAT/VW then the system won't know and it will pass "security" and load.

That is exactly what I was thinking about. 

There is now a free way available to use any sd card. I've tested it on my Amundsen MIB2 and it works. Here's a slightly edited copy of a post that I made in another forum:

 

Here's a tool which allows you to use any sd card for your maps ( plus a load of other extras ). No CID needed anymore as this tool removes the CID lock:

Please take note: You will need to enable Developer Mode/Green Engineering Menu ( GEM ) in your MIB2 using VCDS or some other diagnostic software before using this tool. This tool is ONLY FOR DISCOVER MEDIA ( Amundsen ) NOT FOR  DISCOVER PRO ( Columbus ). There is a link on the webpage for the Discover Pro ( Columbus ) version but I don't know whether it offers the same mods. I am not affiliated in any way to this tool but I have tested it and it worked for me. The usual disclaimer: Use at your own risk!

No worries - I just wish I'd found that tool before I had bought a sd card from an ebay seller in Lithuania 😀. The tool definitely works though. I tested it on a spare sd card. And the tool is pretty easy to install. It looks slightly complicated on first glance but it's not really. I've installed it and uninstalled it a few times and there's quite a few other mods that it can do as well.

I buy too, Although, this is the Chinese one. Delivery 25 May 😂
