I have a engine sound generator unit (J943 retrofit) and according to the diagram it is supposed to be connected to the powertrain CAN-BUS, can I connect this unit to the suspension CAN-BUS or the comfort CAN-BUS? Skoda Kodiaq.

Probably not...

 

If it was designed to connect to the suspension or comfort bus, that's how it would be wired from factory. Stick to the wiring diagram for the best chance of success :D
