MFD1 boot logo

Featured Replies

Hey, I have recently found on local srapyard funcional MFD1 for my Octavia MK1 RS, I have PIN and everything works but it is the original Blaupunkt unit its made for FORD (it has the green backlight for the buttons that match the Skoda interior lights) but the boot logo is Ford and menu has blue colors, I have found a russian forum/diy site where they still have functional links to download NaviEdit where you can edit the update files and change the logo and thus change the menu color, the thing is I have tried all types that they had on that website (index A+B, C+D, C+D with DSP) and burned them on CDs ... none of them work because they are aparently only for VW MFD1 (says the CD is incompatible and it need FORD one) and my question is if anyone has ever tried something like this or someone that have some other update files for MFD1 that I can try. From the OE number 7M0 035 191 A should be A index but there is a sticker saying index L and from hidden menu I saw that SW used is from early 2000 so its probably never been updated and CD drive works because it had 2003 BENELUX maps inside and they loads up just fine.

Any help would be appreciated.
