Kessy - Keyless 5th door /rear door/ does not open properly

Featured Replies

Hi

I have an issue with the kessy - keyless when I want to open the 5th door. Sometimes it's work, sometimes not.

When the 5th door not open with the kessy I have to touch either door at the car and then the 5th door open too.

Or I can open with the button on the key.

I recorded the kessy issue:

In this video the kessy is not working I touch many times at the 5th door and the I moved to the another side and went back..

At the end I opened the passanger door with kessy and the 5th door opened.

Do you have same experience with the kessy? Any idea how I can solve this problem..

I happy to any idea... It is normal function or fault?

thanks in advance!

All that I can suggest is you check the settings for the central locking, they may be set to 'Single door' or 'Doors on one side' which would mean needing to unlock it two times or more to open the 5th door. Make sure it is set to 'All doors'.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your idea. I check it, all door was set.

ps: this fault appear randolmly. I was at the service, they said this is feature not fault. 🙂 Because of the thief protection.

Ahham... and I was on the Mars... 🙂

@cadger81 you did mention in your first post it sometimes happens, sometimes not. I missed that 🙄

It really does sound like a fault in the kessy system; I have used mine for over two years and always consistent, no random issues .

I hope you can get it fixed.

I assume the 5th door is the boot? So yes I've had this happen to me. Fails to open, walk out of range, walk back & it works.

Occasionally touching a rear door sensor fails to lock car too.
