Citigo 2016 Sat Nav

Featured Replies

I have a Garmin 4NSF Sat Nav as supplied from new, has anyone changed the battery? I have put it on charge from a phone charger as the battery warning came up.

Replacement batteries are advertised on eBay, but have no idea of  if I can replace it myself. Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

Just to say that I successfully replaced the battery obtained from eBay(£12), I was told by Garmin that owner battery replacement was not possible.

It was surprisingly easy, 4 screws, unclip edges (start at top and sides)the bottom will have a ribbon cable that can stay attached(acting almost as a hinge).

The microphone will dislodge but is easy to replace.

No idea of battery longevity, but worth a try if you need to replace.
