Lack of power

Featured Replies

Hi,

Help from the gurus if possible,

Have done quite a few bits and pieces recently,

But after changing the intake Camshaft due to lobe wear, I now have a complete lack of power,

Already had - DV valve (previously)

Camshaft control valve

Camshaft chain and tensioner

Camshaft sensor

Pump cam follower

Power drop only happened after intake cam change,

Double checked Camshaft timing yesterday appears OK by eye

There is no engine light, and no codes from VCDS, just the following from live data,

Turbo does kick in eventually (higher in range than usual) idles ok and runs ok, just no power, bogs down when trying to pull away in 1st

Any thoughts? I'm thinking possible timing valve oil control rings, that or the Camshaft lobes are out slightly...
