Hi All 

New Fabia colour owner , never had car with rear parking sensors before

Does anyone know what distance the difference colours and lines represent?

Hi,It should work like this,Green-safe distance,Amber-getting close to object and finally Red-STOP IMMEDIATELY as you will colide with object.Hope this helps.Cheers Andy

spelling mistakes

I suspect you will find that if you reverse towards a wall or your garage door, when you get a red, if you stop car immediately, and handbrake on, you will discover still about 0.5m (19 inches) before you hit it.

 

It is useful to check this so know how much reserve distance you have.
