Head unit coding

My vehicle specification sheet refers to Online service, with OCU, with head unitcoding, without engine immobiliser interconnection .
I’ve spent hours trying to find out what ‘head Unitcoding’ means, what do you do with it and how do you do it?

I know this might result in some amusing replies but I thought it was worth any shuttle abuse I may get.

Hi everyone, I have a Skoda Fabia with a 1.2 AZQ engine. I have a warm running issue - the car misfires/stutters when fully warm. The intake air temperature (IAT) reads around 80°C when the problem occurs. When I unplug the EGR connector the car runs perfectly and IAT drops to around 30°C. Parts already replaced: EGR valve (new) + adaptation done MAP sensor (new) Coolant temperature sensor (new) PCV valve (new) EGR pipe is clean, no carbon buildup Breather hose between EGR and air filter ho

It is the third time my wing mirrior smashed by a car in 9 months. I moved in and live in country lanes and narrow roads. They drive too fast and do not pay attention. I want to know if it can be overridden by VCDS to allow unrestricted closing of the mirror at any speed? The current limit is 20mph above to prevent the mirror wing from closing. This is frustrating as my old Honda Jazz mk1 can close at any speed!

Hi, My tensioner failed at low revs and speed, the car juddered and stalled. It restarted and I drove home about a mile steadily. It seemed to drive normally if a little noisy. Next day it would start but not run. The check engine light was on. Pretty sure the Timing jumped a tooth. Q. do the valves always hit the pistons? do the valves always bend? Might I get away with an new tensioner and re-time? TIA
