Hope is all well with everyone. 

 

I have a Skoda superb mk2, 2010 reg, 2.0tdi. The car mileage is about 178,000 coming up.

 

I'm starting to hear a metal ''klonk noise'' or something that is loose when I'm driving over the speed bumps. The noise feels more generated on the rear right.

 

I have had the anti roll bar links (febi bilstein and blue print) changed front and rear about 2 weeks ago. And I have had new rear shock absorbers (Sachs) about 3 months ago. 

 

The mechanic has had a look at it from top to bottom and tighten ever bolt we can think of. And he can't understand it either where this noise is coming from. 

And still the problem comes when I drive over the speed bumps. We have had a look at the coil springs and they look okay, the  rear shockers have no oil leak on them, as they still new. 

 

Has any one had this problem and managed to sort it, because I'm starting to get annoyed with this metal klonk sound.

Hi everyone, just updating on my car. Found what the problem was and it was a faulty rear shocker. The rear shocker had a manufacturing fault but it looks perfectly fine by visually looking at it. Just wanted everyone to know if they had this problem or even going through this problem.
