Mechatronic oil leak and fault code P17BF

Featured Replies

Have oil leaking from mechatronic and fault code P17BF, so looks like accumulator in mechatronic has failed.

Been looking at various repair kits.  Does anyone know if there is enough space to disassemble  the mechatronic in situ, or will it require removal of transmission and/or the mechatronic?

Thanks

You can demount the mechatronic without removing the transmission but its quite tricky.

I had the same issue and bought the kinergo repair kit. Changed it a year ago still runs without any problem.

Thanks Atlesz. The Kinergo kit is the one I have ordered.  I have cleared everything out from  around the mechatronic and have a fair bit of space. So going to see if I can remove the front cover and  fit the kit with the mechatronic still bolted to the gearbox.

You might need some help to put in place the bottom of the kit and to tighten the screws but it is possible.
