Last week I found a good deal on a junkyard for an amundsen radio (Androidauto en carplay). Currently installed it in the car and did the cp off and activated all the swaps through toolbox. Coded it correctly through VCDS. 

 

Last thing to do was replace the USB adapter (5Q0035726N -> 5Q0035726E for carplay support. Got the USB from the same car as the radio, so expect the USB works (2018 car with 99.000km). When I swap the usb (with adjusting connector slightly) the android auto and carplay don't work, only charging. When I change it back to the "N", android auto works again. What am I missing? Checked the coding 5f byte 19, but its coded correctly.

If coding is correct then probably new USB is faulty.
