Has anyone got a Saris Bones 3 on a hatchback vrs?

I'm trying to fit mine but can't quite get the angles right and I've given up trying. It either sits too hard on the bumper or pushed onto the back window. I know it can't be this hard.

 

Anyone got one fitted? Can you give me the fitting numbers and maybe a photo? Thanks
