Octavia overheating

Hi, I have just bought a Skoda Octavia 1.6 diesel Greenline about 3 weeks ago. In the first week I went away and drove it 500 miles, 10hrs without really stopping, maybe for 20/30 minutes after about 400 miles but had no issues. Same on the way home.

 

A few days later I’d been driving it for a long period and it started bleeping at me, saying it was overheating and to stop immediately. I’ve taken it to a local garage and he’s scanned it and said the fault lies in the auxiliary pump as the timing belt and main water pump were changed in June this year so it’s unlikely to be that. He’s changed the auxiliary pump but the problem has persisted. The fault code is P26F800 and is saying Coolant pump (c) stuck. Has anybody else had this problem please? I
