Help! I've been fiddling with the boot latch (to try to get the rear wiper working), and I've pushed the latch into the closed position, with the boot open. Now I can't get the latch back into the open position, so can't close the boot. Using the remote only opens/locks the doors, nothing happens with the boot.

 

Superb 1.6 diesel greenline estate, manual, 2011.

 

Any ideas?

Does pressing the trunk open button with the car unlocked not release it?
