Basically I just got a 21 plate Octavia mk4 but there I wanted to change a few things.

 

I was hoping to turn off the seat belt warning as I am a taxi driver and sometimes it's necessary to not wear a belt and also it's annoying explaining to drunk people that they need to put their seatbelt on etc. 

 

The other thing is the doors auto locking.

 

Please don't judge me, I know these are both safety features and I understand why they are there. I don't agree with not wearing a seatbelt by the way. I just find it annoying. 

 

I feel like it would be silly for me to spend 100's on it when I will barely use it. There is not really any people with scanners near Portsmouth on the list so I am asking what is the cheapest way to get what I need to this myself please?

 

I had a look at the obd11... The £51 one. So I would need that and the £40 yearly plan? Am I understanding that correctly? Or is that no good for new cars?

 

 

Auto door locking can usually be disabled from the dashboard menu if you have the Maxidot display.

 

Seat belt warning I am afraid you are stuck with unless you use a belt buckle clip to fool the system, allowing drunk passengers to ride without being belted is leaving yourself open to personal injury claims especially if you have disabled the warnings.
