My 14 month old Fabia displayed the message 'Please replace key fob battery' or something similar.

I thought it would last a lot longer than that.

How do I find out what battery it takes??

hi, I have replaced the battery in my key fob.You need a cr2032 battery to do so.Look on you tube and it shows you how to change the battery,it s very simple and takes only minutes.Good luck,Cheers andy😃

Could be a CR2025 or CR2032 battery.

(20mm wide, 25mm thick or 32mm thick.)

Open it up and see what you've got.

It's not difficult to open the fob and you can then buy the battery you need.

Personally, I'd replace it with whatever is inside at the moment, but if you want a long life battery, fitting a CR2032 would give you a longer battery life.
