Coding auto wipers out and intermittent wipers back in. VCDS/OBD11 help please!

Hi all,

 

Really not happy with auto wipers so wanting to use the little wiper lever on the stalk as per the intermittent wipers.

 

I've gone into one of the settings on OBD11 and disabled "rain/autolight sensor" expecting the stalk to go back to intermittent wipers as i've read online but it's still using the rain sensor I believe as they are completely random now on the stalk.

 

Has anyone coded them back to a lesser spec model before? If so am I missing a step?
