Featured Replies

Hey there,

I have been trying to get my CD changer out of my boot. I have removed the two screws from the sides. It nows moves, but i am now stuck on how to get it out completely

Can someone help me?

Thanks!!!

There are 2 screws on each end. Then pull out, anddisconnect the cable. The connector is under the carpet.

It doesnt pull out, im a bit warey in pulling it out incase it breaks the plastic.

Does yours have the carpet surround?

Try lifting about 1/2" then pulling out.

It has got the carpet sourroud, it feels like it is bolted to the side of the car aswell. It just tilts back and forth now.

I think mine had more than 2 screws holding it in, just have a look around, the carpet surround just pulls off.

I have took the carpet sourroud off, and there is like a bracket there, which is bolted onto the side of the car, but its a bi*ch to get get it off, and it looks far to much hassle to just get the cd changer out........

The bracket the changer is mounted on is bolted to the rear of the car, you dont however need to remove this. If its pivoting and the bottom is free, rotate the bottom outwards and apply some upwards pressure as if lifting the changer. IIRC the bracket has an angled arangement on the top.
