Garmin Infotainment issues.

Featured Replies

I retrofitted a Garmin Infotainment module into our Citigo a while ago but other than be useful as a basic SatNav I can’t get any vehicle data produced through it. I get blank dials. The module was purchased 2nd hand via eBay. Do I need to ‘pair’ it to the vehicles ECU, I see no way of doing this.
Any positive comments would be appreciated 🙂

You shouldn't need to pair it, but you will have to have it set to the Skoda version. When you switch it on if you hold your finger on the top left hand corner of the screen for 10 seconds it should give you the option to reset it to factory settings (if its a Skoda version) , perhaps this also works for the Seat/Up versions. You can re-install the software using a 8GB(?) sd card I believe. The instructions are on the net somewhere. Sorry I cant help more than that but give it a go.

That’s the best advice yet so I’ll give it a go on my return home. Not much out there on Google & YouTube. (Disclaimer Other search engines and Streaming services are available 😁)
