Hi, I own a Superb Mk.3 Estate and the phonebox lid won't close properly, and I can't figure it out what is wrong with it or how is it working.

Anyone has any suggestions how should I fix it without taking it to the dealer or reapair shop, or is it even DIY repairable?

I was in my car waiting for an hour for SWMBO today and tried mine.  I imagine there's some sort of mechanism at the back of the lid that operates the closing of the lid that's not operating properly on yours and will need to be replaced?  You can access online manuals that I think you have to pay for (I've never used them) and these may give an answer or show you how to remove it.

 

Have you checked underneath the lid when it's open to see there's nothing trapped up there that's stopping it closing?
