Hi from North East Scotland

Hi. I'm Davie, I've had various vw, seat and skoda vehicles over the years. My present daily is a Skoda Karoq1.6tdi with a dog gearbox dating from 2019. I've only owned it 6 months.  Previous to this I had a yeti 2.0td 4x4 also dsg. My project car, I.e. toy is a golf mk4 1.9tddi 150. This is recently bought and getting sorted out to my liking. 

I'm 60 years old, divorced and retired medically so need something to fill my days with. I've been active on other forums over the years, all with the same user name if you come across me. I hope to become active here, the karoq is utterly reliable and comfortable so I hope I don't have issues to resolve with it. I may ask questions about the golf, as it has issues, and presumably these issues will be in common with skodas, as it has the 1.9pd 150 engine which is common to many cars.
