Fitted aftermarket android stereo no sound!

Hello all

new to this forum probably been asked many of time, My Columbus head until is playing up, so I purchased a android touch screen off Facebook, it worked in the Passat that it came out of, with my Mk2 superb 2013 preface lift there’s no sound when I’ve plugged it in at home, so it took the battery off for a hour, made no difference, please can anyone give me some advice, was advised it might need coding, so I spoke to a Skoda specialist yesterday and they advised me it doesn’t, so I’m bloody confused, has anyone had the same problem
