I have a 2014 Fabia II combi, recently the drivers door has developed a minor issue.

 

The door will not lock with a simple press of the lock button on the fob, but If i perform a full unlock of all the doors, then relock, the drivers door locks fine. Same with the lock/unlock button inside.

 

Door locks and unlocks manually with the key fine.

 

Any pointers of what to look for?

check the door wiring loom under the grommet which goes between the door and the A pillar, possible broken wire / s in there.

Update, the drivers door now works flawlessly but the passenger door isnt locking at all lol
