Electric Drivers seat no connection

Featured Replies

Hi, Hope somebody will be able to help me with this fault.

Purchased Superb from an old friend, car was left standing for some while.

The sealant around the front screen unattached from the glass and proceeded to flood driver's side interior.

After drying the vehicle as much as possible, the electric seat did not work, it was soaked and the control unit under the seat was full of water.

I purchased a secondhand seat module from ebay , and got item recoded .

But the seat will still not work . Was told that could be a ground fault though  I have no idea where that would be .

Tested with VCDS but getting no connection .

enclosed pic of problem .

Thanks for looking and hopefully someone can help
