Skoda UK has updated the Fabia (and Karoq) specs

EVO2 engines and the various new interior trims consistent with other facelifted models

Fabia
The Fabia range has been revised with all models in the range benefitting from a specification boost. The line-up features four trim grades; SE Comfort, Colour Edition, SE L and Monte Carlo with all models now featuring Traffic sign recognition, Wireless Smartlink and Care Connect (3-year subscription) as standard.

SE Comfort models gain a new 8-inch digital display which replaces the previous analogue unit, along with a larger 8.25-inch infotainment screen. A front centre armrest, textile floor mats and two additional rear speakers complete the specification upgrade.

Colour Edition models gain a larger 8.25-inch infotainment screen and add Cruise control with speedlimiter, rear electric windows and rear LED lights to the standard specification. SE L versions now come with a 10.25-inch Virtual cockpit digital display, Hill hold, rear LED lights, privacy glass on the rear side windows and door sills with Fabia badging.

Range-topping Monte Carlo models now feature a larger 8.25-inch infotainment display that replaces the previous 8.0-inch Bolero unit, Cruise control with speedlimiter and front seat lumbar support. Monte Carlo models also benefit from LED rear lights, updated interior inserts and Hill hold.

As part of the 2024 update, the Fabia now features a new 1.0 TSI engine from the brand’s EVO2 generation. With an increased output of 116PS (and increase of 6PS over the previous engine), the new unit is fitted with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard and comes with the option of a seven-speed DSG.

Prices for the 2024MY Fabia start at £19,730 OTR for the 1.0 MPI SE Comfort model. Colour Edition models start from £20,530 OTR while the SE L is priced from £22,465 OTR. Sporty Monte Carlo models start from £22,965 OTR.

Design Selections
In addition to the equipment boost, both models have been updated a new interior naming convention, first seen on the Enyaq all-electric SUV. Karoq customers will be able to choose from a range of four carefully curated options. Each offers a subtly different look with a range of materials designed to allow owners to perfectly tailor their car. SE Drive models are equipped with the Loft interior as standard, with the SE L coming with the Lounge interior. SE L customers can choose the Suite and Eco Suite interiors as an option. SportLine models feature a unique interior that includes sports seats. SportLine buyers can specify Lounge SportLine and Suite SportLine as an option, which switches sports seats for standard seats.

Fabia customers in the entry-level SE Comfort trim have the Studio interior as standard which features a grey fabric interior. SE L comes with the Lodge interior while Colour Edition features Loft interior as standard that includes grey fabric with grey stitching and added metallic touches. The Monte Carlo comes with the specially designed Monte Carlo interior that has black fabric and artificial leather seats with red metallic design elements and carbon effect on the dash.

The 2024 MY Fabia and 2024 MY Karoq are available to order now.

I'm not sure how 'new' that information is, as it was certainly available on the Skoda website when I bought my October-2023-built Fabia several weeks ago.

Browsing the "Build your own Skoda" configuration website

https://cc.skoda-auto.com/gbr/en-GB/

will show the four 2024 Fabia 'trims' (SE Comfort, Colour Edition, SE L and Monte Carlo) and - having chosen one of the four trims - selecting "Summary" at the foot of the list on the right will allow full details of that trim's standard equipment to be displayed.

Any optional equipment that was selected can also be displayed. For amusement I 'configured' a Monte Carlo with the 1.5litre motor and 24 options that ended up with an OTR  price of £34,792.
