Sorry about the Mandarin😆

My car is Octavia MkⅢ2015,How to open the yellow eyelash light? Like the image,it doesn't work.

I checked the little lamp back of the reflective tile it's ok,Can i open it in VCDS?

Hello, welcome to the forum!

I believe that the light units are factory sealed. So if the LED strip is failing then a new headlight is required.

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, the LED daytime lights are not removable, and my LED is good.

In fact, what I want to say is that the part above the LED, I think is more than someone coded off.Just like the yellow light in the picture.

There is a small yellow bulb on the back of the reflective tile which provides light source, I took it out and did a test, it is good.

Maybe post a full autoscan and an adaption map from 09. That will help determine how the car is coded and any likely changes.

Typically the W5W bulb for the eyelashes should be cool white. I assume you've changed them for orange versions?

Are these stock headlights?

I uploaded them, there are a lot of Chinese may be difficult to understand, if you can help to analyze it, I would be very grateful.

In fact, yellow bulbs are standard in China, and I didn't replace them.

The headlights are probably in stock. I just replaced them after the official sale last month.

Yeah, that'll be a challenge! Can you install the latest English VCDS version from Rosstech: https://www.ross-tech.com/vcds/download/current.php

You can have both languages installed at the same time without issue :)

Yeah I'll tell you after trying it, but maybe the English version won't work after downloading because I'm using an unofficial OBD cable🥲

Forum guidelines state we can't have content that "promotes illegal activity or infringes on the legal rights of others" so until you have a genuine cable, I won't be able to help...

Ross-tech do great work so if you find their product useful, you really should buy a genuine version :)
