  1. I could be wrong but isn't there a little trim removal tool with the spare wheel, a loop on one end for your finger and a hook on the other to go through that little hole in the grille under the fog light and help you pull the black grille off ? That should let you get to the mounting screws of the fog light.
  2. This bit confuses me, the missus had a 2019 FL with LED headlights and from what I recall the fog lights were the cornering lights, it wasn't built in to the main headlight. (car has since been sold on so can't verify) Unless you're talking about the DRLs ? Or maybe someone had a go at coding the DRLs as cornering lights ?
  3. The picture seems to have gone from the forum link I posted but in OBD11 go to Dashboard--> Long Coding--> click on the "0|1" next to Long Coding then under Byte00 there is a option "Speed Warning at 120km/h (75mph)" This is set to "Not active" on my car
  4. I'd think it was added by the leasing company then, a quick google shows people with the same buzzing noise in Ford, Citroen and Peugeot cars so I don't think it's Skoda specific. If you have OBD11 maybe check this: https://www.vwvortex.com/threads/speed-warrning-at-120km-h.9109129/
  5. First thing i'd check is if you have added any LED interior lights or LED boot lights. I added LED boot lights to mine and now if anyone turns on the rear interior/reading light then I get boot open warnings.
  6. Wish I could be more help as I had the same problem. In my case someone reversed my car into a low wall so I had to get a whole new plastic diffuser and some attach points were bent so I bought a new diffuser and took it to the local garage so they could put it up on a lift. After a few days one of the sensors fell in so was going off constantly so I took it back to them and they sorted it. I tried having a go myself but the space was very limited in there for my big hands. You can take off the lower diffuser part without doing anything to the bumper Did come across this video on YT ase someone
  7. Scroll down one step, it should say "Warning at" (or something like that) on top If it's not set then it should read "--" if it says 75 then it's set to warn you when you go over 75 mph This is a superb but same menu
  8. A long shot, but have you set the speed limit warning to 74 or 75 km/h ? A long shot as i'm not sure what the warning sounds like as i've never set it myself
  9. What are you trying to do when the error comes up? Maybe the issue is with the Bluetooth module in the car ? I have a S20 and the missus has the S22 and both work flawlessly on both my 2015 Octavia and her 2019 Facelift Octavia. Both our cars have Bolero infotainment systems.
  10. @varooom Can anything be done with the oil ash mass ?. Mine's at 40.6g for a 2015 octavia 1.6 with just over 180k km on the clock. Not sure if that's good or bad going but it's half way to the 80g limit. soot mass measured = 2.94g & soot mass calculated was 13.32g at time I took the readings.
  11. According to other threads on here it can't be ordered separately, as others in this thread have suggested maybe buying a broken screen with it attached is your best bet ? Or maybe someone on here who has done an upgrade has one they could sell ?
  12. First thing I noticed when I went to sit into the brother-in-laws Passat was it has an extra ring of rubber on the doors. Things like that all help with the noise.
  13. Can the Inverter plug into the 12V socket in the boot, if that's where you are looking to mount it. Not seen anyone put USB ports there, that is where the buttons for the heated seats go but there was a thread where people added the USB sockets to the back of the centre arm rest for the rear passengers
  14. Sounds exactly like the water pump is failing. Had it happen twice on my car with the same symptoms.
