Bonnet latch replacement?

Hi all,

My S2 bonnet latch plastic bit you press to unlock bonnet is I believe bent to a point where it is night impossible to press it hard enough to unlock bonnet.

Tried WD40 on it, it helped for a bit, but it's back to be very hard to press to open.

Was looking for replacement and only one I found was for S2 Estate - I have hatchback.

Would it be same..??

Or maybe you have any other ideas on how to make it healthier??

Also - how easy it is to check and do preventive maintenance on cable pull from cabin that unlocks it ? It's also very hard to unlock..

(I have both Superb II and Superb III cars, I am talking about 62-plated S II car my daughter is using )
