  1. Think I've moved lumbar too, but will give it a go again.. tx
  2. Thanks.. I did all of above in one go: moved bottom forward, moved 1cm more. Folded vertical part forward down, moved 1cm more. Raised bottom part to top spot, raised 1cm more.. What I did not do then was to 'reset seat memory' as none of 'memory/set postion' buttons actually responds, they should generate bong when pressed.. Anything on that step..?
  3. Hi, I have issue with my seats controller, stopped moving seats to memorised positions some time ago... All manual adjustment knobs are operating ok, can move seats in any direction I want.. Output from VCSA for seats is as follow: Address 36: Seat Mem. Drvr (J810) Labels:* None Part No SW: 5Q0 959 760 B HW: 5Q0 959 760 B Component: Sitzmemory H08 0021 Serial number: Y0006PLG22250 Dataset Number: ---€------- Coding: 0014000000000500018280808080000000008181000000D400 Shop #: WSC 33361 790 00156 ASAM Dataset: EV_SeatMemorDriveSide 002021 ROD: EV_SeatMemorDriveSide.rod VCID: 3C213ABF76E804CA133-8068 3 Faults Found: 9654868 - Motor for Lumbar Support Fore/Aft Adjustment B1352 54 [009] - Missing Calibration / Basic Setting Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 00000001 Fault Priority: 4 Fault Frequency: 1 Reset counter: 62 Mileage: 58946 km Date: 2022.08.20 Time: 18:47:00 9654612 - Motor for Lumbar Support Height Adjustment B1351 54 [009] - Missing Calibration / Basic Setting Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 00000001 Fault Priority: 4 Fault Frequency: 1 Reset counter: 62 Mileage: 58946 km Date: 2022.08.20 Time: 18:47:00 10489856 - No Basic Setting B2010 00 [009] - - [keine oder falsche Grundeinstellung/Adaption] Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 00000001 Fault Priority: 7 Fault Frequency: 1 Reset counter: 62 Mileage: 58946 km Date: 2022.08.20 Time: 18:47:00 I have tried to perform calibration as per some manuals found on forum here and anywhere else I could find it, but it still refuses to reset. I did moved seat as much forward as possible with all adjust knobs, then back as much as possible, then forward again, did not reset. Is there any specific order, any caveat I need to know for this..? Any advices?
  4. Hi, update: After long deliberations I've decided to buy new VCSA V2. Can't argue with support from Ross-Tech, recent issues with VCP don't raise my confidence in that and was using some flavour of bluetooth dongle - wasnt fan of it either. I do not know yet what I'll do with original one TBH, not priority to decide now. Thanks for all pointers thou, appreciate. I am considering trip to someone with VCP thou to kill that stop-start BS feature (I know - to reverse it's starting status, but my way express my feeling towards it)..
  5. Bought it in good few years back in what is now German Car Specialist Ltd, 181 Forest Road, Ilford, Essex, IG6 3HZ, they were called something else then.. Any suggestion to do it in different way?
  6. Hi, Have both Skoda Superb II and Superb III (17 plated). Have already original HEX-CAN, but on S3 it does not support one or two new modules. Need advice - buy new HEX, VCP or maybe to buy something else completely? Sort of capable of spending 225 pounds on new VCDS interface anyway, but maybe there is another way..? My fuel-saving(not) engine stop/start feature is ****ing me off, so maybe VCP would be an viable option to cover all the angles and have flexibility..? Not excluding possibility of putting current cable for sale, but prefer not to trade any functionalities in that deal either..? Thanks
  7. I had that single most senior moment there..... apologies 🤣🤡
  8. Hi, My AC doesn't work. Checked codes with VCDS, found 'Air qualioty sensor' fault, so replace it and cleared error - not resurfaced after change, so assume this is now fine, but AC still won't blow cold air.. As I need car on daily basis was thinking about popping to a workshop to check solution pressure in system, but my situation prevents me from going there before 4PM. So my questoion is - how long does it take to get that checked in workshop - will I be able to book a visit to assess situation in time between 4PM and closing time for workshops?? And what that involves - just placing sensor over valve or something more complex?? I would then make decision on further steps..
  9. Auto-wipers - system detects if your wipers are auto-activated few times (can't remember how much) withing specified period of time and then headlights turn on even if it's bright enough when they are on AUTO. Find it safety-wise very thoughtful, as well as intelligent wipers stop at junctions when car not moving. Footwell LED's - had them replaced in my Superb 2 and they were also dimmable, with that gentle blue hue car looks really nice at night.
  10. Kenny - I actually knew about this, but I agree with Shugmo - this is actually more dangerous being in such off-drive line position you have to move your head AND arm to see if it's lited.
  11. Hi, I have both S2 and S3 at the moment and aside of ****-poor reaction to accelerator I have two quality of life complaints: 1. There's no indicator if I have lights turned on or not. Have mine on Auto all the time due to my car being black and my preference to be visible in tunnels etc, but I dearly miss 'lights on' indicator on dashboard. I know it dimms background when they turn on, but it's way too vague to be easily determined. Any way around that? 2. Footwell lights - can anyone tell me what bulbs/LED model are those? In S2 I have changed it to blue LED's: and Jaytip did it as presented in above topic. Want them changed as well, as blue looks way better than white. Regards
  12. North London and rims are standard Skoda. After several years in London they are not looking nice have to admit, but aside of that car is in pretty good state.
  13. Hi, Preparing my Superb II for sale as it's not ULEZ compliant and have to sell it.. I have all 4 rims quite badly damaged and looking for reputable alloy refurbishment company or new set of rims.. What is your opinion on both options: what is cost of new rims set compared to cost/hassle of refurb? I wouldn't be doing refurb myself, no skillset nor capabilities.. Have to say - love my new L&K Superb III - except for acceleration...
  14. Wish list I'm afraid for the moment - 'no money' really is the only reason.
