Help people, my air con seems to not be blowing any air. It does heat up, and cool down but there is no pressure coming from the unit itself. I have checked all fuses and they are all fine. Any ideas?

What happens when you change the blower speed between each of its (5?) positions?

If you get air only when set to maximum speed then the resistor has failed.

If there is no air at all in any positions of the air switch then the blower motor has failed.

Both component are behind the glove box.

 

Good topic.   I am also in the position of only getting any air blowing when in top speed (4 out of 4 in my car... like Radioactive Man's goggles, positions 1, 2 and 3 do nothing).

Typical sign of a failed resistor as I posted before. There are previous posts on this forum describing how to fix it. \try searching in your search engine using  "briskoda octavia2 plus your search terms"
