Scout 2019 III-5e - does anyone have fuse assignments for this exact model?

Featured Replies

Hi Folks;

I'd like to pull the fuse - if there is one that leaves the car able to run afterwards - that supplies the Haldex/All-Wheel-Drive.

I'm unable to get under the car and disconnect the Haldex at its' plug due to disabilities.

The fuse boxes, I can manage.

I'd like to pull the fuse so I can run it as FWD only, as aid to diagnostics.

Massive vibration when accelerating/going uphill under load, the more the torque, the worse it gets, all speeds over 35mph.

The vibration is unaffected by gear selected and engine rpm.

When freewheeling in Eco it disappears completely.

It's fine also under light load on the flat at constant speed.

The wheels and alignments have been balanced and checked twice.

I have rotated wheels front/back and it makes no difference.

I have a set of winter wheels and tyres, and when these were swapped for the alloys, no difference.

The Octavia assignment list on fuseboxinfo doesn't match.

The box looks the same though, and many fuses are missing.

I pulled fuse 9 listed on fuseboxinfo as assigned only to 'all-wheel-drive', and instead lost - manoeuvre braking, ESC, Start/Stop, tyre pressure loss system.

It's not fuse 31 either, as that is already missing.

When I drove it with fuse 9 pulled, the vibrations were exactly the same.

It looks like assignments for the Scout are different from the Octavia.

It feels dangerous/destructive to drive the car over 30mph under these conditions.

3 trips to the Skoda dealer and two to independent outfits here in Bedford have done nothing to resolve this issue.

The dealer changed the flexible coupling near the rear diff, and it made no difference.

Four figure sum spent already to no avail.

I suspect either Haldex or the flexible couplings/cardan joint are involved.

Whether the Haldex has ever been maintained I have been unable to verify.

I'm trying to narrow down where the cause may be by myself, if possible.

Then I'll know what to ask for next!

I've a feeling it may be ££££ again.

It used to be such a lovely car to drive . . .

Hoping someone can help,

Therblig
