Multiple warnings after alternator change

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've seen similar topics with these problems but always after new battery. I've just had had new alternator fitted to my Octavia 2017 2.0 TDI DSG.  Immediately after I got multiple error warnings, one after the other, eg, Front Assist Unavailable, Error: headlight range control, check left dipped headlight beam!, check right dipped headlight beam!, traction control ESP, stop start unavailable,  etc..  they can come up in any order, sometimes immediately on start up, sometimes after 50m miles driving but aways comes on.  Switching the engine off and on again seems to reset but always comes back.  The car still drives ok, ie not in limp mode.  Battery reading when engine not running 12.7V, when engine running 14+V.  Garage which fitted new alternator can't find fault.

I've been to 2 garages specialising in auto electrics who can't find the fault and advise to go to Skoda workshop. Any useful pointers would be appreciated.  Many Thanks
