Retrofitting heated Steering Wheel

Featured Replies

Hi again

I stuck on my Heated Steering Wheel upgrade. Can anyone tell me where to pin the Yellow Cable? The new Steering Unit has no socket for this cable. You can see on the pictures

Unit 5Q0953561A will replaced with

5Q0953561C

Both, steering wheel and Unit come from Superb Sportline without limiter

Hiya, were you able to resolve this in the end?

Yes

How did you resolve it then Steff?

I bought the correct part.

Could you tell us more please, so if we want to retrofit a heated steering wheel, what is needed please?

Thanks.

Clockspring: 5Q0953561C (B is OK too)

Steering Wheel: 3V0 419 091 AF BGW

Harness from Kufatec.

Just replace Clockspring and Steering Wheel.

Then install the new Harness and connect to a Socket in Fusebox. When you order it from Kufatec they will give a how to link.

Vielen danke! Many thanks.

That's very useful. I wish you many enjoyable kilometers of driving with warm hands.
