As my Scala has a self-dimming mirror (do all of them?) you'd think it would be easy enough to get 12V power from near there.

The problem is, now we've seen the red, we'd really like it. Argh. Purple would be cool too. We can't un-see what we've seen.

I bought a little device called "AAWireless" that plugs into the car's USB-C socket. Once set up, it automatically connects my phone wirelessly to the Bolero radio.

There will likely be 12V power to the mirror anyhow, as it's a self-dimming one, so it wouldn't be that difficult to tap into that with a 5V regulator (like an LM7808) to an USB socket.

I have a 2019 SE model. It has ambient lighting in the footwells in the front. A bit pointless.
