Air con isn't blowing cold air out.(not good when wife is 30 weeks pregnant)

Car is coming up to years old and has air-con not climate(import vrs).Fans are coming on so am i right in thinking its probably lack of gas?

Check the clutch hasnt fallen off the end of the compressor, common fault on UK Octavias. If it has get a s/hand one & fit it, can be done on the car if you have decent ramps so you wont even have to de gas it. Dealer will probably quote you a new compressor £800 + vat + fitting + re gas
