Broken latch / lock under bonnet

Featured Replies

Spoiler

So when you pull the bonnet latch inside the car it attaches to the pictures below. However due to having an encounter with an Elk that I hit the mechanism under the bonnet is damaged.

The plastic release UNDER the bonnet has completely snapped off so I need a new part including the metal that the plastic release attaches to.

The release inside the car works fine to unlatch the bonnet.

I can get into the bonnet by putting my hands through the broken grille and pulling on one of the cables to release the right hand side - the left seems to release via the cable inside the car.

Would anyone have part numbers - advice?

2019 UK RHD Superb.

Thanks so much!

Thanks so much. That’s not the long cables though is it - I need the two short cables, small metal bracket and small lever that you push when the bonnet is ajar?

Exactly that yes.

The secondary latch, not the main bonnet release
