Hey, it no longer does as supposed to. 

 

Anyone else come across a sitch where there's a loud elongated beep and it doesn't function except briefly as the stick shift is withdrawn from reverse the picture of the car briefly comes up on display and radio cuts out as if about to work.

 

The elongated bleep is intermittent i.e. not every time tried to operate reverse gear sensors do you get one.

 

Thoughts welcome. I'm driving a diesel 2.0tdi vrs hatch 58 plate.

Hi, I have a similar issue. With mine a message comes up on the screen on the lines of The Optical Parking Aid is not currently available as well as the long beep. It's only on the first start of the day so far though, thereafter it works fine. Hope we find a solution!

 

There are no obstructions on the sensors or visible damage.

 

Mine is a 1.6 diesel Elegance estate 61 reg.
