Octavia CarPlay Head Unit

Hi everyone, I have a 2011 MK2 Octavia with the 5 inch Bolero Touch screen and Bluetooth. However, there is no CarPlay on that year

I was searching around and found you can buy wireless car play screens for cheap but they don’t seem to be of great quality

Alternatively there are OEM units for €300 but I was wondering if anyone has any advice on this upgrade or if there are cheaper alternatives out there?

I have seen a few OEM units on aliexpress but just unsure about these

Any help is much apprecaited

Hi , hope someone can shed some light on a this . On an 2021 Octavia fault says. The regeneration frequency of Diesel Particulate Filter is not ok , says the fault is permanent . Car is due to go for software update , would this have something to do with it. Thanks

Bought a second-hand Skoda Fabia a short while back, as my first car after passing my test. While I'm normally fairly tech-savvy, I'm a bit new to cars and infotainment systems etc. I've found the service menu by holding down the [Menu] button and can see the software appears to be from April 2015. I tried the Skoda update website, but it says there is no update available for my VIN. I don't buy that for a second. that there isn't a newer version after 4 years, but have spent las

Hi everyone! I’ve been thinking about taking my TDI RS Octavia to a track day, but I know that the stock oil cooling is a critical weak point. My question is whether there is an OEM+ solution out there, like using a Crafter oil cooler, or if I should go with an external oil cooler instead. On top of that, how plug-and-play is an external oil cooler setup?
