Make & Model: Octavia VRS 2.0 TSI DSG estate Colour: White Mileage: 178,878 Price: £999 Description: I've owned this since 2017 but now have a Mk4 Octavia PHEV and a Caddy camper van, so need to move it on. It had 1 owner before me (a Skoda rep). MOT until October 2026 Condition: Fair. Main issue is someone reversed into it, so there is a crease in the offside rear 1/4, crack to the bumper and cracked light lens. Has several other scuffs and marks, stone chips etc. Starts and drives, but will intermittently misfire and throw up the EML ( but can often do hundreds of miles before it reappearing). Slow puncture to offside rear. Has been sat on my drive for a while. Some corrosion underneath noted on MOT. Could certainly continue to be driven with a bit of TLC, or stripped for parts. Comes with 2 keys. Service History/Receipts/Recent Service work: It's due an oil change service. In my ownership it's had the timing chains and tensioner done (£1k), intake manifold replacement (£800), discs and pads, recent timing chain cover and re-sealing of sump due to weeping oil (£600). Has anyone tried their luck at the Gatwick branch?

A few weeks ago, my passenger electric window (2012 Octy VRS) took a couple of attempts to close; it would drop a few cm, then carry on up. This morning, I wound it down and I heard a grinding noise. Now it's only 70% closed, and won't go any higher (although the motor will still allow it go down) What's the likely cause? I'm about to pull the door card, but am I going to have to drill all the inner panel rivets to see anything of the window regulator?

How did you get on removing the ridiculous intake manifold support bracket? That thing nearly broke me

Random one, but have you done a throttle body alignment in VCDS? I had similar symptoms after a map in a previous VW (TFSI engine though)
