No remap

Featured Replies

I have a 2021 scala Monte Carlo 1.0tsi I’ve tried a few tuning companies but no luck , one did say yes we can remap it , turned up and tried a few different ways but no luck at all with it having the latest ecu on it I did call into bluespark automotive, they say there unit will plug in and work !! Anyone else tried tuning 2021 on scala 1.0tsi

Plenty online about the ECU being locked and that is that. Youtube vids as well.

If the Tuners / Remppers are not managing to get past that thn you are were you are until they say then can and actually can.

I assume you are not letting anyone at your car to try developing a remap.

The Bluespark Tuning box was OK on Mk2 Fabia vRS 1.4 tsi Twincharger CTHE engines from 2012 while it took REVO / APR and others a couple of years to offer a Stage1 & 2 map.

APR dealers were opening ECU,s and still not managing to do anything.

The BlueSpark box was better on the 1.4 TSI with the plug gap they recommended.

Then obviously on Super Unleaded. So E5 & not E10.

Which exact engine do you have?

Which ECU, Bosch MED 17.5.21 or MED 17.1.27?

Thanks. AG Falco

I don’t know what ecu is fitted to the car and I can’t see any numbers as it’s in a metal casing around it the company that came out to try to remap it was Celtic tuning  , the bloke tried allsorts to get into the system , made a good few calls to his office and the only thing was to drill the anti tamper bolts out of the cage remove the unit and take it away , they would have to open it up etc etc , but I thought that’s not going to happen so the other option is to try the bluespark unit that plug into the system
