Hi there. Recently i bought skoda superb from 2019. I update all the maps from sd card ( they were from 2019- updated to 2025) going this way i think all.the software was never updated. When i try do that in the car from update online it say license is not valid even i have 2 subscription active ( infotaiment + skoda care) . I call local skoda dealer asking about update but they say that there is no new updates for this hardware. 

Maybe someone has exactly like me and manage to update the software? 

Hi, sorry, I only can say to you that it is MIB 2.5

and 1440 is the last version if I'm not wrong.

Try to search about it in this forums and Google.

Czyli napewno mib 2.5 mam u siebie choc myslalem ze to mib 2.

Sciagnalem juz pdf z instrukcja i czytaleM tez tutaj sporo ale ludzie aktualizuja wersje typu 238-306 , moja wersja to 1382. To to chyba wgl inne oprogramowania. Jakbys venom171 mogl mnie naprowadzic bylbym wdzieczny

So I definitely have mib 2.5, although I thought it was mib 2.

I've already downloaded a pdf with the instructions and I've also read a lot here, but people update versions like 238-306, my version is 1382. It's probably different software altogether. If you could point me in the right direction, venom171, I'd be grateful

238-306 etc etc is for the MIB3 units.

1382, 1440 etc etc is for MIB2, MIB2.5 units.

 

Firmware updates cannot be done via the online update portal.

 

Search this forum - there r a few discussions which provide instructions on how to update the MIB2/2.5 firmware.
