So i have a VCDS Hex Ive used for years, but it wont work on a post 2019 car and i have to upgrade to a V2. VCDS is silly money. Is there anything else thats cheaper and just as good? Or nearly as good such as brake service mode and DTCs? OBD11? 

OBD11 is probably your best alternative bet if you're confident in what with VCDS does. But it does come with variations, so you'd better check out which version would suit your needs.

£140 a year. Better to go buy a V2 for £185 I think.
