I 

The car has no ASR off button, only an ESC off button.  Manual shows both.

Is this normal?  Newbie to these options so any clarifications would be helpul

ASR / Anti Slip Regulation is AKA Traction Control(TC) 

 

ESC is Electronic Stability Control,  & Off is not the ESP but the ASR / TC.      But then VW Group use letters like Alphabet Spaghetti.
