Anyone replaced original Octavia 4, my 2020 infotainment Swing sw 1316 with android one from aliexpr3ss?

Swing 1316 is the one with two extra knob on sides.

 

I have found some items but no real user reviews....

I guess, it is not possible, because the infotainment manages everything including the AC, so by changing "the radio" you would not be able to manage the vehicle settings or the AC and others.

I have done it.

Where there is a will, there is a way (and Chinese production)

Frame + canbus cables+ android 10.3".

Steering wheel comands working.

Still have to mount 360° cameras.

But i have issues with reversing sound from canbus decoder. It sucks.

Can you please give more details about the android navi, does other functions from the swing work with this navi, the clima settings?

Please post more photos with the menu of the navi, I am interested in buying the same product and you are the only person that make the retrofit.

With this canbus box "vw-58" everything is working as should after configured in android headunit. This means: steeringwheel commands, climate, reversing, .... Just one notice. Reversing beep sound comes out of this new canbus decoder and the buzzer is bad, i will replace the buzzer with small speaker. Soldering is waiting...

The frame supports 10.3" display and the quality of frame is almost 5 stars. No issues.

Depending on the producer of android infotainment it may be possible that it will not fit on "top back" from the factory. I ordered DUDU7 headunit, mounted as it was delivered (aka 2din, back2back motherboard on display) allthrough is it possible to rotate the motherboard to 1din style, i tried and it is much worse fit.

So i ended with 2min small iron saw with fine cuting and i saw off the middle of original car frame. Then the original thin cover just droped on the back of new frame.

It was worth the effort. :)

Dusanh, can you told me what you do with the other cables from swing navi, the black oane and the yellow one, I don t know wherd to connect them, and after instaling the dudu navi I have an error from sos button and other fubctions not work

Sos is not working anymore. I am still waiting service to disable this with coding.

I can t find the canbus settings for my car, for octavia is only to 2019 model and I don t know what to choose to work with my car, I order exactly the same canbus, frame and navi like you

Set it up like this and reboot the headunit :)

It worked with golf 8 settings, climate work,steering wheel work, but the set button not work and I don t have acces to start stop, tpsm, wiper service, coming home, leawing home , etc,

Does this functions work for you?

Did you manage to solve the sos error with coding?

No. My mechanic will try to disable original infotainment within one month.

I discover an other problem,I can t select the climate directions,when I press tonchange the air direction it blow air from all directions, I can t set it to blow air only on windshield or only on foot.

And I hawve issues with car range display, it show 0 km range and other parameters like rpm not display at all
